Welcome to the 17th Annual Georgia Collegiate Flag Football Championships

This year's tournament lived up to it's slogan..."The State of Survival."  The tournament was played in unseasonably cool Georgia weather through pool play.  Tournament play began at 4:00 Saturday afternoon, and with it the rain came, and came, and came.  In the end, all finals were played using the overtime procedures, 1 series for each team.  Indeed, it was a matter of survival.

Congratulations to Kappa Sigma from West Georgia, The Pack from North Georgia, and the University of Georgia for surviving the weather and winning their respective divisions.  Good luck to these teams at the National Tournament.

We also recognize Jerome Johnson, Sammy Crawford, Tony Fontenot and Steve Rapier, Kerry Watkins and Jake Rosiek for being selected All-Tournament Officials.  Jerome, Sammy, Tony and Steve will represent the state in the National Tournament in late December.
